Niagara Framework Integration - Milestone integration with the Niagara Framework integrates video with facility controls.. Milestone Xprotect driver for Niagara provides seamless integration with video, building automation, access control, and security. This integration allows the user to embed video into the system UI and create video mapping. Any system event may be associated with a camera and viewed directly from the alarm console, or popped up on the screen. Events can be scanned and viewed from the Niagara UI. Video motion detection events may be brought into the Niagara eco system and trigger alarms in Niagara, or interact with the building automaiton system to turn on lights and set spaces to occupied mode. When integrated with access control, video from Milestone can be compared to a stored photo to provide visual verification of a card holder to provide added security.
