At terminals and depots, Canscan's cloud-based AI technology connects to the existing camera networks and infrastructure on site, is equipment agnostic and highly adaptable. Cameras installed on rubber tire gantries and top handlers capture these images of containers on site to be sent back to the cloud for analysis. Large datasets of these images are analyzed and assessed, to isolate damaged and problematic containers, and upon completion container specific alerts are sent back to the operator on site. The system can detect and analyze all types of elements on a maritime container, including: ID numbers, the presence of a seal or other damages. It is also possible to ensure container traceability within the terminal grounds by capturing and validating its own unique ID number in several locations.
